Com base no acordo estabelecido, quer os clientes da TAP quer os da Emirates passam a dispor da facilidade de emissão de um único bilhete com itinerários combinados em voos operados em code-share nas redes de ambas, e também do entrosamento dos respetivos programas de Passageiro Frequente, o programa Victoria da TAP e o Skywards da Emirates.
Os novos serviços em code-share já estão disponíveis à venda desde hoje, para viagens com início a partir de 21 de dezembro.
Ao abrigo do acordo, o código e número de voo da Emirates será associado aos voos da TAP entre Lisboa e Porto, Faro e Funchal na rede doméstica, e Sevilha, Madrid e Barcelona, em Espanha.
De igual modo, a TAP coloca o seu código e número de voo em serviços operados pela Emirates entre Lisboa e o Dubai, Banguecoque, Singapura, e Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur (ambos os voos aguardando ainda autorização das autoridades).
“Através da operação em code-share nos voos da Emirates para Dubai, Banguecoque e Singapura, Hong Kong e Kuala Lumpur, a TAP passa a oferecer aos seus Clientes ligações mais diretas e convenientes e uma maior diversidade de escolha de serviços para a Ásia e o Golfo Pérsico, em particular. A oferta desses novos serviços constitui também mais um atrativo para os passageiros voarem, via Lisboa, entre destinos servidos pela nossa rede e o Dubai”, referiu José Guedes Dias, diretor de Alianças e Relações Externas da TAP.
Os membros dos Programas de Passageiro Frequente das duas companhias beneficiam da possibilidade de acumular e utilizar milhas bónus Victoria com a TAP e milhas Skywards com a Emirates, este, ainda sujeito ao estabelecimento de condições.
A utilização de milhas acumuladas é feita numa base de reciprocidade, tanto em classe Económica como em Executiva.
Os membros Victoria podem acumular milhas bónus em classe Económica, Executiva ou em Primeira quando viajarem em voos da Emirates, e os membros Skywards podem acumular milhas bónus em classe Económica ou Executiva em serviços operados pela TAP.
“Este novo acordo de code-share com a TAP traduz-se na oferta de ligações convenientes e também de mais benefícios aos nossos membros do Programa Skywards, através do acordo de reciprocidade dos programas de passageiro frequente, possibilitando-lhes ganhar e utilizar milhas Skywards quando viajarem com a TAP”, disse Thierry Antinori, vice-presidente executivo de Vendas Globais de Passageiros, da Emirates.
Antinori acrescentou que o posicionamento de ambas as companhias permite-lhes beneficiar do aumento da procura para viagens de negócios ou lazer entre Portugal e os Emirados Árabes Unidos, assim como para pontos no Médio e Extremo Oriente além do nosso hub no Dubai. A Emirates opera voos diretos e diários para Lisboa em equipamento Boeing 777-200ER com capacidade para 274 passageiros. Os voos EK 191 partem do Dubai às 9,15h e chegam a lisboa às 14,45h, com a possibilidade de ótimas ligações a um conjunto de serviços da TAP. O voo de regresso, o EK 192 sai de Lisboa às 17,55h e aterriza no Dubai às 4,35h (dia seguinte).

TAP Portugal and Emirates announced today the initiation of a commercial cooperation agreement, which will enter into force the day after tomorrow (2112). and that translates in offering a wider choice and more convenient services to passengers of the two airlines.
Based on the agreement, want to TAP customers want the Emirates shall have the ease of issuing a single ticket with combined itineraries on flights operated in code-share in both, and also the integration of the respective frequent flyer programs, the program of TAP Victoria and the Emirates Skywards.
The new code-share services are now available for sale from today, for travel starting from December 21.
Under the agreement, the code and flight number of the Emirates will be associated to TAP flights between Lisbon and Oporto, Faro and Funchal on the home network, and Seville, Madrid and Barcelona, in Spain.

The members of the frequent flyer Programs of the two companies benefit from the opportunity to accumulate and use miles with TAP Victoria and bonus Skywards Miles with Emirates, this, still subject to conditions.
The use of miles is made on the basis of reciprocity, both in economy class as in the Executive Board.
Victoria members can earn bonus miles in economy class, business or in First when travelling on Emirates flights, and Skywards Members can earn bonus miles in economy class or service operated by TAP Executive.
"This new code-share agreement with TAP translates in offering convenient connections and also of more benefits to our members of the Skywards Programme, through the agreement of reciprocal frequent flyer programmes, enabling them to earn and using Skywards Miles when traveling with the TAP," said Thierry Antinori, Executive Vice President of global sales, Emirates passengers.

Emirates operates direct flights daily to Lisbon and Boeing 777-200ER equipment with a capacity of 274 passengers. The flights depart from Dubai to 191 EK 9, 3:0 pm and arrive in Lisbon at 14, 45 h, with the possibility of great links to a set of TAP's services. The return flight, EK 192 out of Lisbon at 17, 55 h and lands in Dubai at 4, 35 h (next day).
